We are holding a family get-together at the weekend of July 26th at our house in Scotland, and we would like to invite you to come. We do hope you will be able to join us.

The plan is to have an informal garden party barbeque on Saturday July 26th. We will also be at home to visitors from Friday to Sunday. For those of you who have not yet been to see us, we live in the village of Balmullo, on the east side of Scotland in Fife, between Dundee and St Andrews (the Home of Golf) (15 mins each).

In driving time, we are about one hour north from Edinburgh, two hours to Glasgow and 3 hrs to Prestwick, and two hours south of Aberdeen.

Please find attached some accommodation suggestions. We can fit some in the house but we will give priority to our older visitors in the house, while some of the younger ones might wish to stay in a tent in the garden. The mobile ones might like to book into one of the local small hotels or bed & breakfast places that are within 10-15 mins drive of our house. (It’s good to book as soon as possible as this part of the country gets a lot of summer tourism and things will fill up quickly.)
